The first Turkey Red Bandana dates back to around the 1850’s.  Another famous bandana company which existed until the 1970’s, is The Elephant Brand,  manufactured in NYC.  Elephant Brand is recognized as the original Americana bandana and is very collectible and commands a high price tag.
